NCTA Announces Co-chairmen Weiss and Glynn for 2007 CEO Conversation

RALEIGH, N.C. (December 13, 2006) – The North Carolina Technology Association (NCTA), the primary voice of the technology industry in the leading state of North Carolina, today announced co-chairmen for CEO Conversation 2007. Billy Glynn, Chairman of the Board & Chief Innovator, Collective IQ and William Weiss, Chairman & CEO, The Promar Group LLC, will preside over the annual international executive conference to be held April 11, 2007 at the Sheraton Imperial in Research Triangle Park, N.C. The theme of CEO Conversation is ‘What’s Next,’ and will feature leading global executives including the president of Random House Ventures and Bertelsmann Digital Media Investments, Richard Sarnoff.

Weiss and Glynn, co-chairman for CEO Conversation, are global thought leaders, innovators and business advisors. William Weiss is a strategic thinker who has been providing corporate leaders with counsel and relationship building for more than 30 years. His work has been in diverse geographies including Asia, Europe, the Middle East and North America. Areas of recent focus include media, telecommunications, information and other emerging technologies. Weiss’ unique way of analyzing the business landscape and possible connections offers companies, boards and investors a fresh strategic framework for understanding how technology and change can open new possibilities.

Bill Glynn is a recognized influencer voted one of the world’s top innovators in 2001 by Information Week. Glynn is a successful serial and parallel entrepreneur, philanthropist and visionary presently partnered with and supporting a variety of branded executives including media icon Joel Katz.
