William Weiss, Chairman & CEO of The Promar Group LLC in Cary, NC has been appointed as the Chairman, Board of Directors for iFOCOS, The Institute for the Connected Society. iFOCOS is located in Reston, VA and is an independent, not-for-profit organization committed to enabling a better-informed society. VOCEL Names William C. Weiss Chairman of Board of Directors

Mr. William C. Weiss, Chairman & CEO of The Promar Group LLC headquartered in Cary NC since 1972, has just been appointed Chairman of VOCEL's Board of Directors. VOCEL, headquartered in San Diego, California, provides opt-in, permission based communications and promotion software for the mobile market worldwide. It is used for mobile content, education, health and a variety of other key initiatives. VOCEL's key investors include Bertelsmann, Motorola and Torstar.
