William Weiss Attends Duke Eye Center Building Groundbreaking

William Weiss, a member of the Duke University’s Medical Eye Center Advisory Board, has been involved with Dr. Victor Dzau, President & CEO, Duke University Health System, Dr. David Epstein, the Duke Eye Center Chairman, Mr. Bill Hudson, President, LC Industries, the Duke Eye Center Advisory Board members and the doctors of the Duke Eye Center in helping to arrange for a new Eye Center at Duke University.


Mr. Weiss attended the ceremonial ground-breaking ceremonies on April 20, 2012.  The new building will include state-of-the-art design and care options, continuing to keep Duke Medical in the lead world-wide The new eye center will provide new levels of care, research and patient opportunities, both at Duke and remotely.  The new eye center building will provide the opportunity to reach new people all around the globe and increase the quality of life for many people who suffer from eye disease, even at very young ages.
